ZXCLOUD KU5200 Storage

  • The ZXCLOUD KU5200 storage system is a product that provides its users with secure, reliable, and excellent performance storage service, which is oriented to the enterprise-level application. It has industrially-advanced hardware specifications, uses the high density interface design, collaborates with the ZXCLOUD K serial storage product platform-based software, introduces the advanced virtual software concept, and provides the perfect storage VAS function to meet requirements of enterprise users for data storage capacity, IO performance, data security, and service continuity. It can be used to multiple realms and industries such as medium/large-size database, high performance computing, multimedia video data storage, file service, Internet application, backup, and disaster tolerance.  

    1. High Performance and Easy Expansion  
    ■ The controller uses the high performance multi-core processor with dual channels and Intel X86 architecture.  
    ■ The dual controllers have at most 1TB super large high speed cache and 2.4TB PCIe SSD Cache, which are used together with the unique cache read/write algorithm design to provide the industrially-advanced I/O performance.   
    ■ It supports 16 high density IO interface cards, which can provide at most 24 10Gb iSCSIs, 48 8Gb FCs, 24 16Gb FCs, 24 24Gb miniSASs, 24 48Gb mini-HD SASs, 24 10Gb FCoEs or 48 1Gb iSCSIs to have the super strong interface capability to meet different application requirements.   
    ■ It supports the multi-level expansion to have at most 24 miniSAS/mini-HD SAS rear end interfaces. It supports 1,728 hard disks, 8,192 hosts, or 8,192 LUNs, meeting the requirement of the user for the high end storage product with large capacity.    
    ■ It supports the automatic hierarchical storage to obtain the larger capacity and higher IO performance through making flexible combination of different hard disks such as SSD, SAS, and SAT and by using limited investment.    
    ■ It supports the virtualized storage, making unified management, data migration, and data disaster backup of other disk array storage resources through the virtualization technology.   

    2. High Availability and High Reliability

    ■ It has dual active controllers, the structure of separating the disk from the controller, but no board-loading IO. The product has the cluster expansion capability.  
    ■ It comprehensively supports RAID levels such as RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, RAID6, RAID10, and RAID50, meeting requirements for different levels of data security.  
    ■ It supports ZTE’s EEP technology, providing the concurrent access capability higher than that of the traditional RAID and realize the higher reliability and faster RAID reconstruction speed at the same time.  
    ■ It uses the ZXCLOUD K serial storage software platforms and supports multiple advanced data management functions, such as snapshot, roll duplication, disk roaming, remote image, virtual storage, host multi-path, local reconstruction, breakdown disk/slow disk prediction and isolation, and smart disk hibernation. It, together with other ZXCLOUD K serial storage products, makes the all-around data protection.  
    ■ It uses the smart global hot/spare disk technology and does not limit the hot/spare disk position. It can provide the frame-across hot/spare service to support the function of reconstructing the background.  

    ■ It has the total redundant module design, 2+2 redundant power module, and industrially-advanced C2F permanent data power-off protection technology. The system availability can reach up to 99.999%.  

    3. Convenient Management and Easy Maintenance 

    ■ Unified remote O&M scheme: The system has the built-in Web management interface, so it is unnecessary to have the attendance on the site. 
    ■ Multiple management methods: The system has the graphic Web, SNMP, CLI, and CAPI library management functions to promote the management efficiency.  
    ■ Rapid fault diagnosis: The system can make SMART hard disk detection and provide alarm modes such as LED light and email to ensure that the equipment fault information cannot be neglected or missed. 
    ■ Convenient maintenance: The controller, power, fan and hardware support the hot-swappable function to reduce the maintenance complexity. 
    ■ It supports 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch disks. The product has different types of hybrid hard disk plug-ins in SAS, SATA, or SSD mode. 

    4. Home-Made and Self-Developed Product with Security and Credibility
    ■ ZTE has made self-development of the operating system CGSL, which has its own intellectual property.
    ■ Both the hardware and software are self-developed, which can be customized for development.  

    5. Green, Energy Saving, and Environment Protection
    ■ The system uses the advanced hardware speed decrease and hibernation technology to reduce the energy consumption in the industry.
    ■ The intelligent rotation adjusts the mute fan design: low power consumption and low noise. 
    ■ The CPU intelligent frequency conversion function can adjust the CPU operation frequency intelligently according to the service pressure
    Green and harmless: The system has no lead, so it is environment protection.
