ZTE and XLSMART Jointly Release New Achievements in Autonomous Networks at ZTE Global Summit and User Congress 2026 From Vision to Verifiable Business Value

 

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, September 14, 2026 – ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a global leading provider of integrated information and communication technology solutions, partnered with XLSMART to showcase the latest progress from their collaboration in autonomous networks at the ZTE Global Summit & User Congress 2026, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 

The showcase highlights practical progress in applying AI-driven network intelligence and agentic automation in selected live-network scenarios, marking another important step in XLSMART's journey toward Level 4 (L4) Autonomous Networks.

 

The joint release ceremony was honored by the presence of distinguished industry leaders, including Shurish Subbramaniam, CTO of XLSMART; George Glass, CTO of TM Forum; alongside James Zhang and Zhang Wanchun, Senior Vice Presidents of ZTE. Their presence underscored the industry's shared interest in advancing autonomous network capabilities and realizing tangible value from AI-enabled network operations.

 

As one of XLSMART's technology partners supporting its autonomous network journey, ZTE has been collaborating with XLSMART to validate Network Optimization Agent capabilities in selected live-network scenarios. Through these validations, the two parties are demonstrating how AI Agent capabilities can support the operational loop from perception and analysis to decision-making and execution, while generating practical insights and measurable results to guide the further development of autonomous network capabilities.

 

In network optimization, the Network Optimization Agent has been validated in selected live network scenarios for wireless coverage optimization, showing how agentic automation can speed up the network optimization process. The validation demonstrated automated closed loop capabilities, with a closure rate of 25% within the validated scope, reducing the manual effort and time typically required to move from analysis to execution. The agent also demonstrated its ability to generate optimization solutions and support automated analysis, strategy generation and execution, giving valuable evidence for how agentic network optimization capabilities can accelerate optimization cycles as they are further developed and scaled."
