China Mobile Jiangsu and ZTE Deploy 5G-Advanced to Empower E-Commerce Growth in Donghai
- China Mobile Jiangsu and ZTE have deployed the Agentic E2E solution in Donghai
- The solution enables streamers to achieve multi-fold uplink rate improvements and zero buffering, creating a promising niche business

Jiangsu, China, September 16, 2026 - ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a global leading provider of integrated information and communication technology solutions, has helped China Mobile Jiangsu deploy the Agentic E2E solution in Donghai. The project has made progress in boosting local e-commerce growth.
Donghai country in Jiangsu, China—known as the "World Craft City for Crystal", has consistently recorded an annual crystal transaction volume exceeding RMB 10 billion. Livestreaming ecommerce has become the major sales channel. Its crystals are sold worldwide, with major markets including China, the United States, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
The expansion of livestreaming areas and growth in participant numbers are straining traditional networks. Peak-hour congestion, driven by thousands of concurrent users and complex scenarios, degrades network experience for streamers, vendors and visitors. To address these issues, China Mobile Jiangsu and ZTE have deployed the Agentic E2E solution. Leveraging a range of 5G-A capabilities, the solution has resolved the network challenges at the Donghai Crystal Livestreaming Hub.

The solution includes network intelligence and site intelligence. At the network level, Experience Agent is deployed to enable userlevel demand analysis. At the site level, AIREngine has been deployed at scale to deliver app-level demand analysis. Its analysis capability has expanded from over 10 to more than 16,000 types, enabling precise assurance for key apps. According to the analysis of key users and key apps, 5G-A carrier aggregation base stations have been deployed, together with uplink enhancement equipment in areas with high concentrations of livestreamers. Consequently, the uplink rate is multiplied significantly, and the buffering duration ratio decreases from 0.36% to 0%. Combined with the industry-first GigaMIMO feature, this enables seamless indoor-outdoor switching.
The project has significantly accelerated the growth of e-commerce in Donghai. Based on the solution, a 5G-A plan for streamers has been launched, delivering multi-fold uplink rate gains and zero buffering under congested scenarios. Over 10,000 streamers across Jiangsu Province are now benefiting from the plan. For vendors and visitors, it provides basic service assurance and area-wide 5G-A UE Logo display. In the first four months of its deployment, Donghai's crystal e-commerce sales rose 14% year-on-year.
The project has been scaled to other ecommerce verticals across Jiangsu province, including livestreaming hubs for press-on nails, seafood, and lingerie. In addition to provincial-scale replication, the project delivers replicable solutions for other livestreaming hubs nationwide.
Looking ahead, China Mobile Jiangsu and ZTE will deepen collaboration in 5G-Advanced and intelligent network evolution, powering better 5G-A experiences for more scenarios and more users.
