Mauritz Lewies, Comsol's Chief Technology Officer and Francois Olivier, Comsol's Chief of Network Strategy joined global industry leaders at the 15th ZTE Global Summit & User Congress in Kuala Lumpur, held under the theme "Architecting Infinity – From Connectivity to Digital Value". For the first time, the Summit was co-located with GSMA M360 ASEAN, creating a broader platform for dialogue on connectivity, digital infrastructure, and emerging technologies.

During the event, Francois Olivier participated in a high-level roundtable, sharing Comsol's perspectives on digital inclusion and the role of communications infrastructure in enabling local business growth. Drawing on Comsol's experience in South Africa, he highlighted how advanced connectivity empowers enterprises, broadens access to digital services, and converts infrastructure investment into tangible economic and social value.

Francois Olivier, Chief of Network Strategy at Comsol, stated at the event, "With nearly 30 years of experience delivering secure and reliable connectivity solutions to enterprise customers in South Africa, we are now extending that expertise into the consumer market through our wholesale 5G-Advanced network, enabling service providers to bring high-performance broadband to more South African households."

Comsol's leadership also held in-depth discussions with ZTE's management and technical teams on the future evolution of digital infrastructure. The exchanges spanned 5G network and equipment evolution, network AI innovation, AI-native connectivity, computing infrastructure, and the convergence of connectivity and computing. Both parties explored how emerging technologies can be integrated into enterprise networks to support new digital applications, enhance network capabilities, and meet the evolving needs of South African customers.

At the management meeting, Comsol expressed strong confidence in its partnership with ZTE and the potential for deeper collaboration. By combining ZTE's leading technology innovation and global R&D capabilities with Comsol's strong local customer platform, market insight, and execution experience, the two companies aim to accelerate the rollout of next-generation digital infrastructure across South Africa.
