Nanjing, China, September 25, 2025 - ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a global leading provider of integrated information and communication technology solutions, successfully co-hosted the 3rd 2025 China-ASEAN Engineers Capacity Building Program in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Themed "Connected for Innovation, Creating an Intelligent Future Together", this initiative strengthened international exchanges in ICT and AI, empowering ASEAN engineers with cutting-edge expertise while pioneering cooperation mechanisms.
Hosted by the Chinese Society of Engineers and organized by the China Institute of Communications - with ZTE and the Jiangsu Institute of Communication as key co-organizers - the landmark event brought together more than 80 elite engineers from countries including Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand, along with ZTE's global engineering team.

Adopting a "specialized lectures + practical study" model, the program sparked in-depth technical discussions and experience sharing across key areas like advanced ICT technologies, AI engineering applications, and green intelligent manufacturing standards. The curriculum included hands-on training, simulation exercises, roundtable dialogues, and keynote reports.
A major highlight was the on-site learning session at ZTE Nanjing's smart Binjiang factory, China's first five-star 5G factory. Here participants experienced cutting-edge applications in smart manufacturing, AI-based quality inspection, and intelligent logistics. The engineers commented that the event effectively broadened their international vision and laid a solid foundation for future technological collaboration.
Experts from the Chinese Society of Engineers, the Vietnam Federation of Science and Technology Associations, and ZTE shared insights on topics such as engineering capacity building, international engineer competency evaluation, and AI's role in empowering industrial development.

Wu Xuewei, Vice President of ZTE, emphasized the company's commitment to cross-border cooperation. "As a leading global provider of telecommunications solutions, ZTE remains dedicated to technological innovation and cross-border cooperation. We are proud to contribute to information infrastructure development, forging bridges for digital connectivity worldwide," he said.
As a key co-organizer of the event, ZTE leveraged its global industry-academia-research resources to build a platform for exchange and cooperation between engineering members of the Chinese Society of Engineers and their ASEAN counterparts. This initiative reflects ZTE's longstanding commitment to building localized talent ecosystems and fostering global ICT talent development. The company will continue to support global engineering and technological progress, injecting strong momentum into sustainable development for the entire global digital economy.
