  • ZXCLOUD KU5200 V2 storage system is a high-end unified storage product that provides secure, reliable, and high-performance storage services to enterprise-level applications. With its industry leading hardware specifications, high-density interface design, advanced virtualization software concept of ZXCLOUD KingStor storage operation system, and complete value-added storage functions, KU5200 V2 can meet enterprise customers’ various storage requirements including storage capacity, IO performance, data security, service continuity, etc. It can be used with wide variety of applications such as medium/large-size database, high-performance computing, multimedia video data storage, file service, Internet application, backup, and disaster tolerance.  

    1. High Performance and Easy Expansion

    ■       High-performance multi-core processors used for controllers.

    ■       Up to 1.5TB DRAM data cache can be configured per controller enclosure.

    ■       High-density disk drawer within the 3U controller enclosure provides 42-Bays, in which 6 Bays are compatible with NVMe and SAS.

    ■       Up to 16 high-density IO interface cards, with up to 48* 1Gb iSCSI, 48* 10Gb iSCSI, 48* 16Gb FC, 48* 32Gb FC, 48* 1Gb NAS, 48* 10Gb NAS, and 24* 25Gb iSCSI host port  can be supported. Various application requirements can be fully met with such excellent connection capability. 

    ■       With up to 28 HD-miniSAS back-end interfaces, 2058* hard disks can be added into one system. 8192 hosts can simultaneously connect to 8192 LUNs exported by one system.  High-end large-capacity storage requirement can be easily met with these capacities. 

    ■        Higher performance and more cost-efficiency storage can be achieved with the Auto-tier function, which migrating data automatically between different types of disk(NVMe SSD、 SAS SSD、10K SAS HDD、7.2K NL_SAS HDD)  according their access frequency;

    ■       3rd Party storage virtualization function can be used to integrate external storage resources, to achieve heterogeneous unified management, data migration and data redundancy backup for other disk arrays.

    ■       With KU5200 V2’s scale-out architecture, linear growth of performance and capacity can be achieved by adding more controller enclosures. Up to 16 enclosures can be connected with high-speed matrix in one system.

    2. Highly Available and Reliable

    ■       Dual controllers work in ACTIVE-ACTIVE mode; fault part is isolated automatically; no single-point failure will cause service interruption.

    ■       Dual-storage cluster can be used as storage high availability or sotrage disaster recovery solutions. With its seamless fault switchover between two clustered storage system, RPO≈0/ RTO≈0 can be achieved.

    ■       All RAID levels such as RAID0, RAID1, RAID3, RAID5, RAID6, RAID10, RAID-TR and RAID50 can be supported , to meet different  data availability requirements . 

    ■       ZTE’s EEP virtualization technology can provide higher concurrent access capability than that of the traditional RAID and realize higher reliability and faster data reconstruction at the same time. 

    ■       Many advanced data management functions, such as Snapshot, Volume Clone (local and remote copy), Volume Migration, Active-Active Cluster, 3rd Storage Virtualization, Thin Provision, Auto Tier, SSD Cache, Virtual Clone, Real Clone, Disk Roaming, Synchronous/Asynchronous Remote Mirror, Load Balance, Host Multi-Path, BE Multi-Path,  Partial Reconstruction,  Disk Safe Analysis, Smart MAID, Cloud Backup and Data Destroy,  are support by KingStor storage operation system, provide users with a full range means for data protection;

    ■        With smart global Hot Spare technology, Hot Spare disks can be placed anywhere in system. Reconstruction can be cross-shelf and use any proper Hot Spare disk. 

    ■       With all hardware modular(e.g. Power, FAN, BBU, Interfaces) designed at least 1+1 redundancy, advanced C2F(Copy to Flash) power failure data protection technology, 99.999% system availability can be achieved.

    3. Customizable

    ■       As KU5200 V2 storage system, including its software and hardware, is developed, produced and tested by ZTE, we can provide highly flexible customization capability for some customers.

    4. Easy to O&M

    ■       Standard remote O&M access: Main industrial standard management interfaces such as SNMP, SMI-S and SwordFish are supported. By these interfaces, system can be O&M remotely.

    ■       Abundant management methods:  WUI,  CLI, and CAPI library management can be used for various system management tasks; Managers or management applications can access by IPv4 and IPv6 dual-stack at the same time. 

    ■       Rapid fault diagnosis: Hard disk SMART function and real-time software and hardware failure detection are implemented; and various alarm functions such as LED light and email notification are provided, to ensure that equipment fault information cannot be neglected or missed.

    ■       Comprehensive monitoring: Rich real-time and history io statistic data is provided to help users keeping track of system working status and resource usage; Hardware information such as environment temperature, power, and fans can be monitored remotely in real time to help user analysis system health status. 

    ■       Convenient maintenance: All controller, power modular, fan and hard disk can be hot-swapped;  types of disks can roam and mixed insert within system. Hardware maintenance becomes much simpler.

    5. Green, Energy Saving, and Environment Protection

    ■       Smart disk hibernating technology(Smart MAID) can reduce power and extend disks’ life.

    ■       Intelligent FAN speed control helps achieve low power consumption and low noise.

    ■       CPU intelligent frequency control function adjusts the working frequency based load level.

    ■       Green and harmless: lead-free and environmental friendly manufacture process.
