  • ZXCLOUD KF8200 is an all flash Storage system designed to  provide secure, reliable and high-performance storage services to enterprise-level applications. With its industry leading hardware specifications, high-density interface design, advanced all flash oriented concept of ZXCLOUD KingStor storage operation system, and complete value-added storage functions, KF8200 can meet enterprise customers’ various requirements for data storage capacity, IO performance, data security, service continuity, etc.and KF8200 is designed for use in a variety of industries such as medium to large scale database, high-performance computing, multimedia storage, file services, Internet applications, backup, archiving and disaster recovery.

    1. High Performance and Easy Expansion 
    ■ Controllers armed with high-performance multi-core processor
    ■ Huge capacity RAM cache up to 1.5TB for contrller enclosure
    ■ 3U-high controller enclosure contains a drawer-type hard disk unit  that provides  30 NVMe disk slots
    ■ Supports 14 high-density IO interface cards, which can provide up to 48 10Gb iSCSI ports, 48 16Gb FC ports, 48 32Gb FC ports, 48 10Gb NAS ports, or 24 25Gb iSCSI ports. Customers can choose different interfaces cards to meet different application requirements
    ■ With up to 24*48Gb HD-miniSAS interface, up to 1182 disks can be added in one system. Furthermore, up to 8192 LUNs can be exported for use and 8192 hosts can be connected to at the same time;
    ■ Support SSDs of different interface type, including NVMe SSD, SAS SSD; and it can support SSDs of different media type, including TLC SSD, QLC SSD. By combination of different disk, customer can get higher efficiency with rational investment.
    ■ The third-party storage devices can be accessed and take over by KF8200. KF8200 takes over the storage resources on the third-party storage devices, so that the data can be migrated online from legacy devices to newly deployed KF8200, thus execute seamless replacement; or the resources on legacy devices can still be accessed through newly KF8200
    ■ Support online expansion by clustering more controller enclosures into storage system. With this scale-out expansion, KF8200 can achieve expansion of storage capacity as well as increase of performance. A KF8200 storage system can support up to 16 controller enclosures; and these enclosure are connected by high-speed low latency Ethernet networks; support 480 NVMe.

    2. Highly Available and Reliable 
    ■ Dual-controllers in controller enclosures work in active-active mode. System HA software constantly monitors every components, when faults are detected, will instantly isolate failed parts and automatic switch load to health parts, ensuring continuous system services.
    ■ Two storage systems can work as a active-active cluster, mirror data constantly and switch service seamless between the two when faults detected. As a device level disaster recovery solution, it can achieve RPO ≈ 0, RTO ≈ 0
    ■ Supports sorts of RAID levels including RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, RAID6, RAID-TR(triple redundancy), and RAID10 to meet different levels of data security requirements 
    ■ ZTE EEP (Easy-use Elastic Pool) is an advanced storage virtualization technology, comparing to traditional RAID groups, it has higher performance and faster data rebuilding 
    ■ Many advanced data management functions, such as Snapshot, Volume Clone (local and remote copy), Volume Migration, Active-Active Cluster, 3rd Storage Virtualization, Thin Provision, Auto Tier, SSD Cache, Virtual Clone, Real Clone, Disk Roaming, Synchronous/Asynchronous Remote Mirror, Load Balance, Host Multi-Path, BE Multi-Path,  Partial Reconstruction,  Disk Safe Analysis, Smart MAID, Cloud Backup, Data Destroy,, Deduplication, Compression, Wear Leveling and Anti-Wear Leveling are support by KingStor storage operation system, provide users with a full range means for data protection;
    ■ KingStor V2 storage operating system provides a wide variety of advanced data management services, such as volume snapshot, volume copy (local, remote replication), volume migration, active-active, 3rd party storage virtualization, thin provision volume, volume virtual clone, real-clone, disk roaming, disk management, active-active cluster, synchronous/asynchronous remote mirroring, multi-path, partial rebuilding, data erasure, inline data compression, data deduplication, global wear leveling and anti-wear leveling, disk power control and flash life management etc. These functions help to provide customers a excellent data protection
    ■ Use intelligent global hot-spare disks or reserve storage space for data buidling rather than local hot-spare disks, with no restriction of slots for hot-spare disks. KF8200 execute automatic background rebuilding when necessary, no need for manual intervene from administrators.
    ■ Fully redundant modular designed, such as 1+1 redundant power supply modules, 6 redundant, hot-swappable fan modules. And the industry-leading C2F(Copy to flash) technology guarantees cache data persistence when accidental power-outage strikes. Its system reliability is higher than 99.999%.

    ■ As KF8200 storage system, including its software and hardware, is developed, produced and tested by ZTE, we can provide highly flexible customization capability for some customers.

    4. Easy to O&M 
    ■ Industrial standard remote operation and maintenance solution: KF8200 supports access of SNMP and SMI-S, SwordFish and other industry standard management interfaces, thus can be integrated into customers’ management system easily.
    ■ Various Man-Machine management tools: KF8200 can be managed directly from graphical Web UI, CLI and CAPI library locally or remotely. It can supports IPV4/IPV6 management network at the same time. 
    ■ Quick faults diagnosis functions: KF8200 provides diagnosis functions such as disk SMART, and real-time failure detection of hardware and software. Failures can be indicated to administrators by LED lighting, email and other means to ensure that equipment critical information cannot be ignored or omitted.
    ■ Comprehensive system monitoring: KF8200 provides rich real-time statistics and historical statistics of resource usage and system performance. It also makes real-time monitoring of system working states including working temperature, power supply, fans speed, and other components such as network interfaces, Backup Battery Units etc.
    ■ Convenient maintenance: The main components of KF8200, such as controllers, power supply, fans and hard disks support hot swapping, online plug-and-play; also KS8200 support disk allocation light and disk roaming within system. All these designs make field maintenance tasks quite easy.

    ■ Intelligent disk power control function adjust energy consumption according to system load level;
    ■ Intelligent fan control function adjust fan rotation speed based on temperature, resulting in higher power efficiency and less noise
