  • ZXCLOUD KU5200 V2 storage system is a high-end unified storage product that provides users with secure, reliable, and high-performance storage service, which is oriented to the enterprise-level application. It has industry-leading hardware specifications, uses the high-density interface design, collaborates with KingStor V2 storage platform software, introduces the advanced virtual software concept, and provides complete storage VAS function to meet requirements of enterprise users for data storage capacity, IO performance, data security, and service continuity. It can be used to multiple realms and industries such as medium/large-size database, high-performance computing, multimedia video data storage, file service, Internet application, backup, and disaster tolerance. 


    1.High Performance and Easy Expansion

    ■      The controller uses the high-performance multi-core processor.

    ■      The dual-controller mode provides up to 1.5TB ultra-large high speed cache

    ■      The 3U complete-machine in-built drawer-type hard disk unit provides 42-Bay high-density storage, in which 6 Bays are compatible with NVMe and SAS.

    ■      It supports 16 high-density IO interface cards, and provide up to 48* 10Gb iSCSI, 48* 16Gb FC, 48* 10Gb NAS, and 24* 25Gb iSCSI, to meet different application requirements with such super strong interface capability. 

    ■      It supports multi-level expansion to provide up to 28 HD-miniSAS back-end interfaces, supporting 2058* hard disks, 8192 hosts, or 8192 LUNs, meeting the requirement of users for high-end large-capacity storage product. 

    ■      It supports automatic hierarchical storage by making flexible combination of different hard disks such as NVMe SSD, SAS SSD, SAS HDD and NL_SAS HDD, to obtain larger capacity and higher IO performance with limited investment. 

    ■      It supports virtualized storage, implementing unified management, data migration, and data backup for disaster recovery  on storage resources of other disk arrays  through the virtualization technology. 

    ■      It supports to implement horizontal expansion with the dual-controller node as the unit, to achieve the line growth of performance and capacity. It supports up to 16 nodes, and these nodes carry out Scale-out through Ethernet exchange.


    2.High Availability and High Reliability

    ■      The controller uses ACTIVE-ACTIVE work mode, performing fault detection and automatic switchover, to guarantee continuous system service during single point of failure.

    ■      It supports dual-live, achieving seamless switchover between two sets of storage equipment, RPO≈0, RTO≈0.

    ■      It comprehensively supports all RAID levels such as RAID0, RAID1, RAID3, RAID5, RAID6, RAID10, and RAID50, meeting requirements for different levels of data security. 

    ■      It supports ZTE’s EEP virtualization technology, providing concurrent access capability higher than that of the traditional RAID and realizing higher reliability and faster RAID reconstruction speed at the same time. 

    ■      It uses the KingStor V2 storage operation system and supports multiple advanced data management functions, such as Snapshot, Volume Clone (local and remote copy), Volume Migration,  Dual-Live, Storage Virtualization, Auto Thin Provisioning, Auto Classification, SSD Cache, Virtual Clone, Real Clone, Disk Roaming, Synchronous/Asynchronous Remote Image, Load Balance, Host Multi-Path, BE Multi-Path,  Local Reconstruction, Disk Safe Analysis, Smart Disk Sleep, and Data Destruction. It works with  other ZXCLOUD K serial storage products, to implement all-around data protection.

    ■       It uses smart global Hot Spare technology and does not limit the position of Hot Spare. It can provide cross-shelf Hot Spare service to support auto BE reconstruction. 

    ■      It adopts total redundant modular design, 1+1 redundant power modules, and industrially-advanced C2F permanent data power-down protection technology. The system availability can reach up to 99.999%.

    ■      Software and hardware are developed, produced and tested by ZTE, to provide highly flexible customization capability.


    4.Convenient Management and Easy Maintenance

    ■      Unified remote O&M solution: The system supports standard management interfaces such as SNMP, SMI-S and SwordFish, so it is unnecessary to have the attendance on the site.

    ■      Multiple management methods: The system provides graphic WEB,  CLI, and CAPI library management modes,  promoting management efficiency; It supports to manage IPv4 and IPv6 dual-stack at the same time, providing customers with more expansions and selections. 

    ■      Rapid fault diagnosis: The system implements SMART hard disk detection and real-time software and hardware failure inspection, and provides alarm modes such as LED light and email, to ensure that equipment fault information cannot be neglected or missed.

    ■      Comprehensive monitoring: The system provides rich real-time and history statistic data, to help users know the comprehensive system operation status and resource usage; It monitors environment temperature, power, and fans in real time and provides remote monitoring function. 

    ■      Convenient maintenance: The controller, power, fan and hard disk support hot swap and disk roaming and mixed insertion,  to reduce maintenance complexity.
