ZTE is one of the fastest-growing providers of DSL CPE, according to Infonetics Research.

26 July 2011, Shenzhen – ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, today announced that the company is ranked first among all fixed-line terminal suppliers in terms of growth rate, according to leading market research firm Infonetics Research. In its first quarter (1Q11), DSL CPE Worldwide and Regional Market Share, Infonetics noted that ZTE posted a 125.3% year-on-year increase and 11.2% quarter-on-quarter growth of DSL CPE revenue. In addition, ZTE’s annual DSL terminal shipments for the period from Q2 2010 to Q1 2011 rose 16.9% compared with the previous rolling four quarters, and 4.4% quarter-on-quarter, which again puts ZTE on top for growth among the largest global vendors.

ZTE Vice President, Mr. Xuming said, “ZTE has an efficient supply chain that allows us to process orders and reduce time-to-market over our competitors. Our close management of the production line, coupled with the relationship our sales team has with customers, will allow ZTE to continue the exciting growth we have demonstrated.”

ZTE’s world-leading growth in fixed-line terminal shipments is based on a series of orders secured in Asia, Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and South America, among others. ZTE collaborates with top fixed-line operators, bringing the company’s innovative and reliable equipment to more than half of the top 20 global carriers, including FT, DT, Telefonica, and KPN.

ZTE is committed to innovation, driving technological developments by maintaining substantial investments in research and development. ZTE’s research of next-generation home-network solutions is based on its ability to conceive total telecommunications solutions. On May 9, 2011 ZTE launched its “Next-Generation Home Network Solution”, exclusively introducing the concept of separating the inside ASIA (Access Point, Service Gateway, Unified Interface and Application) service and outside IPAD (Intelligent Pipe, Application and Data Center) access. This revolutionary solution achieves a synchronized upgrade of the terminal, pipe and cloud of a home network, meeting the requirements of cloud computing for fixed-line terminal applications.
