ZTE, the fastest growing global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, will showcase its wireless and wireline solutions including IPTV and Home Gateway as well as its extensive range of handsets at CeBIT 2006 (Booth C48, Hall 12).

Under the theme "Making the world converge" ZTE will also host an FMC & IMS forum on the second day of the show, March 10 at 10.00 in Room 13/14, Conference Centre, Hannover Messe. The forum will feature keynote speeches on the trends and future of FMC.

"This is the first time that ZTE has attended CeBIT in Hanover. We are very keen to show this market how innovative our technology is and the strong relationships we are establishing in the worldwide telecoms market," said Ling Haifeng, managing director of ZTE Germany. "This will be a platform for our customers and potential customers to meet us and discuss the future of the industry."

"IMS is the anchor for next-generation networks. It´s also the basis for a complete convergence between fixed and mobile networks. We will show our self-developed IMS equipment and services at 3GSM Barcelona for the first time in February and we are looking forward to discussing this topic further with the industry at CeBIT. "

With a universal 3G hardware platform and modular software architecture, ZTE is able to provide customised IMS solutions to different telecom operators including an IMS-based FMC solution, and MMD solution for CDMA2000 operators and a seamless Softswitch-to-IMS migration solution..

In addition to showcasing its leading technologies and products at CeBIT 2006, ZTE will set up an "after-sales service zone" to show the European market how it manages its 24x7 global customer-service system to deliver local support to local customers.
