With event theme of ´ZTE together with you for a bright future of Africa´, ZTE Corporation participated the largest telecommunication exhibition in Middle West Africa from 22nd - 24th June, 2005. Among many local leading Telecommunications manufacturers and several Telecom giants from Europe and Asia, ZTE Corporation showcased its advanced complete range of NGN, WCMA and CDMA EVDO solutions, and several new models of GSM and CDMA handset.
Mr. Adebayo Cornelius, Minister of Telecommunications Department of Nigeria, escorted by Ms. Zhao Xiaoping, Chief Representative of ZTE Corporation Lagos Office, visited ZTE Corporation´s exhibition stand and was impressed by ZTE´s excellent exhibition design and newly-designed handset models.
Many local leading telecommunications providers and carriers, such as MTN, V-Mobile, Starcomms, etc attended this event, together with some European carriers including France Telecom attended as well. In addition, some Asian terminal equipment manufacturers such as Samsung and LG launched their new handset products in this event.
