7 January, 2021, Shenzhen, China - ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, today announced that ZTE has been the first vendor to complete the SPN 10M small-granularity enterprise standard test on the existing network of China Mobile Beijing.

To implement SPN 10M small-granularity enterprise standard, ZTE only needs to add small-granularity service processing boards and upgrade the system version because the existing network equipment has the capability of smooth upgrade. The test verifies the influence of the solution on existing services, and capabilities and performance change trends of service loading of the devices as well. The smooth network upgrade and the normal service operation have verified the feasibility of large-scale deployments of small-granularity on the existing network.

China Mobile Research Institute has innovated the 10M small-granularity technology, allowing the smallest 10Mbps hard slicing on the 5G-granularity MTN (Metro Transport Network) channel. Moreover, it supports flexible Nx10Mbps slicing granularities, forwarding with deterministic latency, and circuit-level physical isolation security, thereby offering the best technical support and flexible bandwidth to latency-sensitive services in vertical industries and high-value enterprise private lines.

Moving forward, ZTE will provide vertical industries and enterprise customers with SPN transport network solutions characterized by flexible slicing with different granularities, high security, deterministic latency & jitter and SLA guarantee.
