Dusseldorf, June 6, 2016 - At this year's Anga Com 2016  - the trade fair for Broadband, Cable & Satellite Solutions (7 -  9 June, Cologne) -  the Chinese telecommunications provider ZTE introduces products and solutions for high-speed broadband under the motto "Brighten your Future with Big Broadband". The focus of the presentation is an XG-PON1 showcase, which shows how network operators can benefit from passive fiber optic technology for the deployment of ultra-fast broadband access. In hall 10.2 on stand (K10) ZTE presents its products and solutions together with Allnet, its longtime distribution partner for enterprise customers.

Broadband access networks on the way to the ultra-fast era
In the center of its presentation of next generation Gigabit-capable passive optical networks (GPON) technologies, ZTE introduces its pioneering XG PON1 solution. It provides 10Gbps downstream, optical line terminations (OLTs) with 128 *XG-PON1 ports and CPEs with 4Gbps broadband. This solution is commercially available and has already been successfully implemented, with the first worldwide deployment in 2014 at the Spanish network operator Jazztel. Visitors can learn how to upgrade from GPON to Ten-Gigabit-capable passive optical networks (XG-PON1) without major additional costs and without intervention in the existing network management.

G.fast, Vectoring and new products
In addition to ultra-fast fiber-optic technologies, ZTE also presented at Anga Com its latest solutions and products for vectoring and G.fast such as the latest 2U High digital subscriber line access multiplexer (DSLAM) products with board level vectoring (BLV) - and system level vectoring (SLV) support. Other new products include new outdoor and indoor development planning unit (DPU) with very-high-bit-rate digital subscriber line 2 (VDSL2) vectoring and new G.fast gateways. The trade fair is rounded off by the presentation of a new hybrid management system that can also manage fiberglass-run and copper-based broadband networks together.

"In order to demonstrate the rapid development of ultra-fast, secure and easy to maintain broadband technologies to small and regional network operators and enterprise customers,  we decided this year to be the represented for the first time as an independent exhibitor at Anga Com" says Li Jun, Managing ZTE Germany. "This marks an expansion by ZTE of our involvement in the German and European market."

According to the consulting firm OVUM, which recently released a market share report: 4Q15 FTTx, digital subscriber line (DSL), and cable modem termination system (CMTS), ZTE is ranked No. 1 for overall fixed-network market share growth, ranked No.1 for the growth of DSL market share, and ranked No.2 in fixed broadband market. ZTE also ranked first in Ethernet passive optical network EPON product shipments.
