Dubai, UAE, October 21, 2025 - ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a global leading provider of integrated information and communication technology solutions, signed  two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with e& on5G private network solutions and green energy transformation.

 

The first MoU focuses on 5G private network for smart cities and enterprises in the UAE. Under this agreement, ZTE and e& UAE will collaborate on the development and deployment of advanced 5G private network solutions that empower smart city initiatives, industrial digitalization, and AI-driven applications across key verticals including oil and gas, utilities,  logistics, and manufacturing. The scope includes building dedicated private network environments to test and commercialize advanced drone use cases for communication, navigation, and AI-based sensing, while co-developing 6G integrated communication and sensing(ISAC) frameworks for environmental monitoring, maritime operations, and infrastructure tracking. The partners will also advance live video broadcasting capabilities to support smart city programs. This collaboration underscores the shared vision of ZTE and e& to support the UAE's drive toward a sustainable, intelligent, and connected future.

The second MoU strengthens cooperation in telecom energy and renewable energy innovation to support e&'s carbon-neutrality goals and sustainable digital transformation. The collaboration covers joint development of smart photovoltaic technologies, intelligent power distribution, and high-efficiency energy systems to accelerate greener telecom network. It also includes the introduction of ZTE's high-density, high-efficiency power modules and intelligent rectifier systems to reduce energy consumption and operational costs, as well as the application of AI and big data to enhance energy visibility, predictive management, and intelligent scheduling across the network. In addition, the parties will co-develop solar and energy storage systems to enable e&'s transition toward green power applications and sustainable network operations. This agreement marks a significant milestone for both companies and reinforces ZTE's commitment to advancing energy efficiency, digital intelligence, and green innovation worldwide.
