ZTE Corporation (ZTE) announced that its participation in the 8th Annual Asia-Pacific Billing & Revenue Assurance Conference in Singapore from May 12th till 15th 2008 delivered a keynote on its latest ZSmart operations and business support solutions and shared the latest BSS/OSS technology with key industry players.
Now running on its seventh year, the Annual Asia-Pacific Billing & Revenue Assurance Conference has become the largest and most influential BSS/OSS event in Asia-Pacific. With a theme "We Do the Billing Smart", this year’s conference aims at enhancing business relationships among global telecom operators in order to develop tailored-made BSS/OSS solutions.

On May 12, Mr. Yong Zhou, Director of Global Marketing, ZTEsoft, shared his insights on how OSS/BSS solutions are playing a significant role in the telecom industry, and discussed how ZTE’s end-to-end convergent operations and business support solutions are helping operators provide time-to-market services while reducing investment costs, and hence obtaining true service convergence.

ZTE has been successfully penetrating the European and Latin American markets through partnerships with leading local companies in those regions. Earlier this year, ZTE’s subsidiary company ZTEsoft signed strategic partnership agreements with ATOS Origin, the second largest consulting company in Europe, and with Indra, the largest IT integrator in Spain. These alliances allow ZTE collaborate with these companies in jointly managing market bids and implement projects, hence providing opportunity for ZTE’s ZSmart series of software solutions to establish presence in European and Latin American markets.

ZTE’s ZSmart BSS/OSS solutions have been deployed in more than 30 countries and regions serving more than 150 million end users, with a rapid growth rate over 50% annually.
