ZTE Unveiled Industry’s First Operational End-to-End IMS System with Convergent BSS/OSS in France

ZTE Corporation (ZTE) demonstrated the industry’s first operational end-to-end IMS system with convergent BSS/OSS at the Management World 2008, an annual global event targeted for the Management of Information, Communications, and Entertainment Services sector organized by TeleManagement Forum in Nice, France from May 20-22, 2008.

ZTE’s end-to-end IMS system comprises IMS client/terminal, access network, unified core network, universal service platform, and convergent BSS/OSS system. It provides full operational IMS and FMC services support, across fixed-line phone, mobile phone and laptops, including IMS services deployment, provisioning, billing, as well as both online and offline charging. Some typical IMS services can also be performed including instant messaging, presence, video telephony and dynamic address book.

Today, ZTE is one of the few telecom equipment vendors that provide end-to-end IMS solution in the industry. Its IMS-based multi-network convergence solution (ZIMSTM), featuring flexible configuration and modular design, supports FMC and CT-IT Convergence, the two significant industry trends aimed at providing superior experience to subscribers by creating seamless services.

To date, ZTE’s IMS solution has been extensively deployed by operators worldwide, including in Asia Pacific, Middle East, North America, Europe and Africa.
