Fang Rong

Ms. Fang Rong has been serving as Chair of the Board of ZTE Corporation since March 2025, and a Non-Executive Director since June 2018. Earlier in her career, she worked at Zhongxingxin, a controlling shareholder of ZTE Corporation, from 1995 to 1997. She then joined ZTE Corporation in 1997 and served as Senior Vice President from 1998 to 2009. She acted as a Director of the Board of Zhongxing Development Company Limited from 2009 to January 2026. Since 2021, she has been Chair of Xiazhi Technology Company Limited.

Ms. Fang Rong is a senior expert in the ICT industry, with extensive experience in telecommunications operations, R&D, and management. Under her leadership, the company has achieved notable results in the R&D and large-scale commercial use of products such as optical communications, videoconferencing, and power supply systems. Additionally, she has played a leading role in driving ZTE's breakthroughs in emerging markets such as India and high-end markets such as Europe, laying a solid foundation for the company's global development.

Ms. Fang Rong graduated from Nanjing Institute of Posts and Telecommunications (now known as Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications), specializing in Telecommunications Engineering.
