Product Overview

QCell Series

ZTE has launched six generations of QCell series with over 100 models. In the 5G era, the QCell series offer greater versatility and flexibility by combining multi-band and multi-mode capabilities for a diverse range of services. For example, ZTE has innovatively applied a simplified two-level architecture solution in a subway project. For residential areas, the innovative "QCell + elevator accompanying cable" solution provides optimal 5G coverage for elevators. In underground parking lots, a high-power QCell and multi-point power splitters solution enables low-cost 5G coverage. Additionally, ZTE developed the first intrinsically safe 5G QCell product, small and light, applied in hazardous environments like coal mine tunnels. With rapid growth in vertical and industrial applications, ZTE is committed to continuously build intelligent and efficient digital indoor distribution networks.

  • Diverse multi-band and multi-mode combinations

The frequency bands of operators are rich and discrete, and QCell products support diverse multi-band and multi-mode combinations, covering many frequency bands such as 700MHz, 900MHz, 1.8GHz, 2.1GHz, 2.3GHz, 2.6GHz, 3.5GHz, and 4.9GHz, and various modes such as GSM, UMTS, LTE, and NR, to meet the various services needs of operators.

  • Broad bandwidth, high output power

The pRRU supports NR OBW of up to 300MHz and supports multi-operator sharing. The innovative high-power QCell enables flexible multi-point deployment with external power splitters and ceiling antennas, reducing the unit cost and making it ideal for irregularly shaped underground parking lots with many obstructions.

  • Powerful software functions

The performance is continuously improved through software version upgrade, and application scenarios are expanded. For example, SuperMIMO increases the cell capacity by 3-4 times and the single user rate by 50%-70%. UTDoA high-precision positioning reaches meter-level and achieves sub-meter-level by integrating UWB/BLE.

  • Simplified two-level architecture

In B2B scenarios, QCell solution can use the simplified two-level architecture to save pBridges, therefore decreases deployment difficulties and reduces the CAPEX and OPEX of operators.
