ZXUN SSS Supplementary Service Server
ZTE's Supplementary Service Server product - ZXUN SSS, based on an architecture where access, control, and service are separated, implements unified control for fixed and mobile users and provides basic communication services and enriched multimedia services for these users. ZXUN SSS, located at the IMS network application layer, provides basic voice services, supplementary services, and multimedia services for subscribers. Meanwhile, it meets various service customization requirements relying on its open architecture, elasticity, easy O&M, and excellent interoperability and provides users with new service experience. ZXUN SSS can be deployed either on the standard ATCA hardware or on the general-purpose COTS hardware. It supports rich virtualization functions, including automatic deployment, elasticity, failure self-heal, intelligent O&M, etc.
1. Main Functions
ZXUN SSS, located at the IMS network application layer, provides basic voice services, supplementary services, and multimedia services for subscribers.
High integration: ZXUN SSS integrates multiple logic functional entities, including MMTel AS, SCC AS, IM-SSF, anchoring SCP and IP-SM-GW functions, which can be deployed together or separately.
Enriched services: ZXUN SSS provides point-to-point audio and video services, supplementary services, and other value-added services.
Capability exposure: ZXUN SSS allows the 3rd party APP platform to invoke audio and video capability of SSS through the capability exposure interface.
Enriched virtualization features: ZXUN SSS supports automatic deployment, elasticity, failure self-heal, etc.
