It is equipped with an industry-leading 4G/5G full network integration environment covering the typical networking environment of ZTE's major product categories, as well as a well-developed environment of black and white box commercial security assessment tools and CI environment for source code integration. The lab is dedicated to serving customers, regulators, and other stakeholders to conduct independent security assessment and verification of ZTE's products and services. It is also a platform for ZTE to enhance external communication and cooperation on product security.

Italy Cybersecurity Lab
The Italy lab focuses on security testing and support for the regional markets. It is not only a workplace in which our security experts operate but also a collaborative platform between ZTE and institutions, universities, and all stakeholders interested in capacity building and knowledge transfer. Currently, our collaborations include the CNIT (National Interuniversity Consortium for Telecommunications), which is a non-profit organization bringing 37 Italian public universities, for technical research and testing supervision. In 2021, the lab has expanded. A complete set of 4G/5G equipment was deployed in the local equipment room, which could be used for convenient simulation of live network application scenarios and security testing.
