10 March 2014, Shenzhen, China – ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment, network solutions and mobile devices, is participating in CeBIT, the 2014 International Consumer Electronics, Information and Telecommunications Fair held in Hannover, Germany from March 10-14.  For the first time, ZTE is attending the event as an independent exhibitor of the enterprise business to showcase its extensive range of enterprise solutions.

Based on the theme ‘Make It Easy’, ZTE is exhibiting a wide range of cutting-edge ICT products and solutions for big data and the mobile Internet. Its innovative ICT solutions include: smart grid, digital oil and gas, smart city, intelligent transportation, public safety, smart healthcare, smart education, intelligent logistics and national broadband network solutions. ZTE is also showcasing additional leading products and key technologies including: M2M, converged communication and major big data technologies, as well as a wide range of terminals for vertical applications and, in collaboration with its European partner, demonstrated an advanced video conferencing system. In addition, ZTE will make several important new announcements based on new technologies.

“CeBIT is a very important platform for exchanges and dialogues with our customers and partners,” said Xu Ming, vice president of ZTE. “We are committed to providing customers with a full range of efficient and converged ICT products, solutions and services, and helping enterprise customers obtain benefits from information-based intelligent businesses, precision marketing, emission reduction and efficiency promotion, and environmental protection.”

The enterprise market is worth a trillion dollars annually, with much greater potential than the traditional telecom market as newly-emerging technologies such as SDN, 3D printing, cloud computing and big data begin to drive demand.

At the end of 2013, ZTE unveiled its new strategy and the development of three major divisions, the Terminal Business, Enterprise Business and Operator Business divisions. The enterprise business contributed around 10 percent of the ZTE’s annual revenue in 2013 and is scheduled to achieve 30 percent of the company's overall revenue in the coming three to five years, becoming one of the company’s major pillars of growth and profit.
