Broadband TV Connect Infovision Awards Asia confers top prize on ZTE’s innovative IPTV platform for Jiangsu Telecom; Second major international award in a month for ZTE IPTV

10th  April 2013, Shenzhen, China – ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment, network solutions and mobile devices, is pleased to win the “Best Asian Service Platform of the Year” prize at the Broadband TV Connect Infovision Awards Asia ceremony in Hong Kong.

ZTE clinched one of the world’s most authoritative prizes for broadband multimedia services for its innovative IPTV service platform solution for Jiangsu Telecom. The award followed other top industry accolades earned by ZTE’s IPTV division.

The Broadband TV Connect Infovision Awards Asia ceremony, taking place at the Broadband Asia & TV Connect Asia conference in Hong Kong, rewards outstanding technology solutions developed in broadband and connected entertainment services. The Broadband Asia conference is part of the series of Broadband World Forum (BBWF) events organized by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and mainstream operators around the world.

In March, ZTE won the “Best New Route To Multiscreen Monetisation” award at the TV Connect 2013 ceremony in London. Previously, ZTE won the IPTV Interop Events certificate from ITU-T. The multiple awards won by ZTE show the broad international industry recognition of the company’s achievements in the broadband multimedia domain in recent years and innovative service capabilities in the new market environment.
