29 January 2013, Amsterdam, the Netherlands - ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a publicly-listed global provider of telecommunications equipment, network solutions and mobile devices, today launched the ZTE iEducation solution at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2013. The cloud-based software can store vast amounts of information and enables users to access the system from multiple devices, enabling the provision of a full range of interactive education services.

 

The ZTE iEducation solution can be easily applied to any education requirement including primary, secondary and tertiary teaching, research, and management or vocational training. The iEducation system enables teachers and students to interact using video conferencing , IPTV and other video terminals across a variety of devices including mobile phones, radio, computers and e-book readers, so that education information can be seamlessly collected and accessed anytime, anywhere.

 

ZTE iEducation can also integrate public and private networks, using wired and/or wireless communication, to guarantee a stable resource-sharing platform. Based on open source software and a service-oriented architecture (SOA), the solution allows for the development of third-party applications to extend the capabilities of the platform.

They are designed to bring high-definition multimedia interactive experience for concept development and create a more realistic and natural atmosphere for on-site meetings. To date, the company has delivered more than 100,000 video conference endpoints worldwide including customers in Europe and the U.S.
