Telkom Flexi Customers to Enjoy Access to Over One Million Music Files On The Move

 

June 22, 2010, JAKARTA ZTE JoyGo Info Tech Co., Ltd (ZTE JoyGo), a subsidiary of ZTE Mobile Telecom (ZTEMT) and ZTE Corporation (“ZTE”) (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, today announced that the launch of its digital music services in Indonesia, which will provide over one million pieces of music content to local operator TELKOM Flexi and its content providers.

 

The move will further extend the reach of ZTE JoyGo’s Music Service in Asia, making it one of the biggest music distributors in the world. Currently, the service is offered to over one billion national and international wireless users around the world.

 

ZTE JoyGo leverages on ZTE’s leading market platforms and channels to rapidly expand its wireless music market coverage and brings its content library to global operators, so that customers will be able to enjoy music services easily, quickly and cheaply. In Indonesia, TELKOM Flexi users can download music via their mobile handsets as well as through the TELKOM Flexi website.

 

According to Regan Lee, General Manager of Value-added Services of ZTE JoyGo, the digital music business is only one part of its spectrum of value added services. “ZTE JoyGo is a professional provider of network and wireless VAS, related software, marketing &operation service, and we are dedicated to creating all forms of internet and wireless value-added services for our partners and customers.”

 

The JoyGo Music Service encompasses R&D efforts, operations, and application development, especially in the areas of digital music, mobile games, client software and electronic books. In the near future, JoyGo will integrate their VAS offerings into ZTE handsets to make them even more accessible and convenient for users.
