On the evening of Jan 31, a few minutes after the opening ceremony of the Cairo ICT 2005 was over, a group of Egyptian ministers and government officers came to ZTE Booth. They are the Minister of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Minster of the Ministry of Youth, the Minister of the Minister of Transportation, the Minister of the Ministry of Administrative Development. These ministers and officers were accompanied by the leading Egyptian media organizations all the way. The ministers happily talked with the ZTE’s local Egyptian employees at the booth, expecting ZTE to work more closely with Egyptian people.
In Cairo ICT 2005, ZTE has a full display of their latest technical solutions and services, covering CDMA, GSM, power supply system, Softswitch system, handsets, etc. The ZTE handsets already attracted curious local Egyptians as soon as the handsets were demonstrated on ZTE booth before the exhibition was officially open.
