Recently, ZTE´s GSM BSS (Base Station System) succeeded in obtaining the certificate of wireless and terminal communication equipment issued by Germany Rhine TUV (EU 1995/5/EC, R&TTE instructions).As a leading telecommunication solution provider in China, ZTE´s GSM products have been widely used in domestic markets and successful in large-scale sales in the markets of many countries and regions such as Russia, Hong Kong, Nigeria, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Zambia, Niger,and Democratic Republic of Congo. Now that ZTE´s GSM BSS has succeeded in passing the safety criterion, and the EMC and radio-assay criteria at the same time, this will help to expedite ZTE products?entry to the European market. During the process of certification, ZTE´s GSM BSS successfully passed the test and file auditing by the specialists of Germany Rhine TUV strictly according to the wireless communication products standards of European Union. Germany Rhine TUV will award ZTE the certificate of GSM BSS wireless and terminal communication equipment, and at the same time it will notify other authoritative certificate organizations of EU of the result. Germany Rhine TUV, is the release organization of European Union R&TTE instructions (Number : 0197) and also an authorized certification organization of the FCC wireless and terminal communication equipment (TCB) by the US government. In South America, the Brazil branch of Germany Rhine TUV has been authorized to be the appointed certificate organization of communication (OCD) by the national communication organization ?Anatel.
