ZTE Announce WAP research and development Center for the China Market and Abroad

ZTE Engineers finished the advanced product training and ready to support the Market ZTE Nanjing (July 21, 2003) – ZTE Corporation, China’s largest telecommunications manufacturer, and 724 Solutions (NASDAQ: SVNX; TSX: SVN), a leading provider of next-generation IP-based network, applications and data services, today announced that a team of ZTE engineers have finished the WAP Gateway Competency Program, the certified ZTE engineers are now prepared to provide implementation, joint development, and first and second line customer support for wireless operators in China and other ZTE served international markets. This cooperation center for WAP software products was set up early this year. This cooperation center located at the ZTE labs in Nanjing, China, is specialized in advanced WAP Gateway technology and, the localization of 724’s X-treme Mobility Gateway (XMG). This center also features a comprehensive local customer support for wireless mobile operators in Asian markets. Personalized, local first and second level support are essential to promptly resolve critical technical issues. In addition, dedicated joint development programs are synchronized with 724’s global engineering team and enable timely response to enhancements or special requirements from operators.
