Mr Yin Yimin, the President of ZTE Corporation - the fastest growing global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions - has been included in the "Twenty-five Most Influential Leaders in China´s Business Circle" by Fortune China.
According to Fortune China, the company has successfully shifted its focus from the Chinese PHS mobile telecoms field to overseas market penetration in the handset and 3G areas, and has established a foothold in the global marketplace.
"This is a sign of ZTE´s growing status in the international telecommunications equipment market." said Mr Yin Yimin.
ZTE achievements in 2005 included partnership agreements with France Telecom, Cisco and Ericsson, and record sales of around 150 million lines of wireless products around the world. In 2005 ZTE was the only Chinese IT and telecoms company named in the Business Week Information Technology Top 100.
The Corporation also has extensive 3G capabilities across the spectrum of UMTS, CDMA2000 and TD-SCDMA, and has become one of the few companies in the world to provide solutions that cover these main three mobile technologies.
"Our challenge is to continue this success in 2006 and beyond, and to make ZTE a major provider to all the world´s telecoms markets," said Mr Yin Yimin.
