ZTE Corporation (Shenzhen: 000063, Hong Kong: 0763), China´s largest listed telecommunications manufacturer and leading wireless solutions provider, is to unveil its full range of product portfolio at Bangkok International ICT EXPO 2005 this week.

Themed, "Global success from local wisdom", ZTE will be showcasing its NGN, DSL, IMS, PCS, DWDM, UMTS, CDMA2000 and mobile phones at its stand (No. C05, hall 1) - covering fixed and mobile networks and data solutions. Service demonstrations will display softswitch-based IP services, PHS, CDMA2000 EV/DO, GOTA and UMTS.

"ZTE came to the Thailand market as early as 1998 and ZTE (Thailand) was officially registered three years ago. The Thailand market shares some similarities to China, which our full range of product portfolio can match very well. We not only bring the traditional switching and access products but also the cutting-edge technologies like NGN, 3G, GOTA etc." said Mr Hu Gang, GM of ZTE (Thailand).

"ZTE´s optical transmission and intelligent network products have already been deployed to serve the local market. Thailand is also a great potential market for CDMA and we are already the No.1 CDMA brand in China and also the world-leading CDMA vendor with 23 million lines in service around the globe. Our CDMA products are widely deployed in ASEAN countries, like Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, etc.

"We believe that with the entry of WTO of Thailand in the near future, there will be even greater demands for telecom services, especially after issuing the license of 3G. Thus, we look forward to greater market advances in the coming years."

ZTE´s attendance at the show comes at a time of great friendship and support between China and Thailand. After the tragic and devastating 2004 Indian Ocean Earthquake, ZTE made an emergency donation of communication equipment to the Thailand government for post-disaster relief.
