1 June 2016, Jakarta, Indonesia - ZTE Corporation ("ZTE") (H share stock code: 0763.HK / A share stock code: 000063.SZ), the leading telecommunication, enterprise, and mobile solution, today announced that ZTE has once again won the award as the “Best Network Technology” at the 13^th Annual Selular Award 2016 which was held on May 25^th, 2016, at Rafflesia Ballroom, Balai Kartini, Jakarta. This is the most anticipated award event attended by Rudiantara, Minister of Communication and Information Technology, and CEOs on the top notch telecommunication operators in Indonesia. ZTE won the same award in 2015 which makes this year the 2^nd consecutive time for ZTE to win the award.

The award was given by Indra Khairuddin, Editor from Selular Media Group and received by Chief Technology Officer of ZTE Indonesia, Gong Ming. The judging process was done by a panel discussion of the Selular editorial team and online polling. The online polling on Selular website started from 5 April to 30 April 2016, involving 1655 respondents from all over Indonesia. Ten provinces with highest number of participants are: West Java, Jakarta, Central Java, East Java, Banten, Yogyakarta, North Sumatra, Aceh, Bali, and Riau. 

The year’s “Best Network Technology” award was given to ZTE as the company was successful in maintaining their capabilities in providing and developing leading telecommunication products in Indonesia. “ZTE is seen to have great and leading capabilities especially in providing mobile network telecommunication in Indonesia. Their products help to enable various telecommunication services in Indonesia, especially which is now entering the 4G era. We hope that ZTE can keep giving their best performance in technology industry, and becoming a part of the developing 4G technology, and the upcoming 5G technology,” said Edi Kurniawan, the Head of Judging Panel Team at Selular Award.

Chief Technology Officer of ZTE Indonesia, Gong Ming expressed his happiness to have received the award. He said, “This award proves that we have done really well in maintaining our company’s performance and consistency for the past 2 years. We are really proud of ourselves and we will not stop here. We will continue to grow and keep providing our innovative and qualified products for our customers in Indonesia, especially in this growing technology era.”

Last year, ZTE won the “Best Network Technology” at Selular Award 2015. ZTE keeps developing their leading telecommunication products for IT industry in Indonesia.
