Amsterdam, Netherlands, September 12, 2026 – ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a global leading provider of integrated information and communication technology solutions, officially launched its end-to-end AI Video Solution at IBC 2026. Centered on the core theme of "Experience Innovation — Intelligent Distribution — Ecosystem Expansion", the solution orchestrates three sub-solutions to build a complete value chain spanning user-interactive experience, AI-powered computing distribution and whole-home smart scenarios, fully empowering operators to upgrade their video-service offerings.

Experience-Driven Innovation: AI EPG+ Sub-solutions Delivers an Experience Leap from Passive to Active Engagement

As the experiential front-end of the solution, AI EPG+ delivers an experience leap "from passive viewing to active interaction". Centered on intelligent voice as the core entry point, it supports a range of foundational capabilities: natural voice commands for service operations, multi-dimensional content search by plot, dialogue, or cast, self-service troubleshooting, and set-top box memory cleanup. Building on this foundation, the sub-solution introduces an innovative AI-powered sports scenario. During live football broadcasts, users can query player statistics via voice in real time, trigger picture-in-picture replays of key moments, and one-click schedule upcoming matches. Meanwhile, the AI digital human assistant provides interactive Q&A, transforming traditional sports broadcasting into an immersive viewing experience that is conversational, searchable, and participatory.

Intelligent Distribution: The AIDN Sub-solution Builds a High-efficiency Computing Foundation for AI-powered Experiences

Rich AI-interaction experiences bring an explosive surge in demand for inference computing power. Statistics show that global average daily token consumption has risen 140-fold over the past 30 months, posing significant challenges to supply capacity, cost control and response latency. ZTE's answer is AIDN (AI Delivery Network), which leverages operator' mature CDN network advantages to build a multi-level distributed inference architecture, pushing AI inference capabilities down to the network edge. Existing CDNs are upgraded into AIDNs built upon three key strengths: robust global scheduling mechanisms, proven distributed architectures and abundant caching resources. This enables local-proximity inference, which drastically reduces end-to-end latency, cuts token-related consumption and operational expenses, and builds an efficient, cost-effective computing foundation for large-scale rollout of upper-layer AI capabilities.

Ecosystem Expansion: The Smart Home Sub-solution Drives Scenario Upgrade from IPTV/OTT to Smart-home Scenarios

Building on its enhanced user-experience and distribution capabilities, ZTE has further expanded the capability boundary of AI Video from video entertainment to whole-home scenarios. Built upon the SHAP (Smart Home AI Platform), this sub-solution delivers unified intelligent interaction and AI capabilities for legacy devices. It enables centralized management and control of a wide range of smart-home devices including curtains, air conditioners, cameras and sensors. By interconnecting IPTV/OTT video platforms, OTT content partners and third-party large-language-model services, the solution unlocks multiple service capabilities covering home entertainment, human-machine conversation, a unified smart-home portal, as well as self-service broadband and bill-management functions. This marks a major scenario upgrade: shifting the paradigm from "watching TV" to "managing the entire home with AI".

The Three-Pronged Approach Forms an End-to-End Closed-Loop Ecosystem

ZTE's three sub-solutions under its end-to-end AI Video Solution constitute a progressive, mutually reinforcing organic whole. AI EPG+ delivers user-perceivable AI-driven experience innovations and acts as the value outlet; AIDN resolves computing-power and efficiency bottlenecks for large-scale AI-experience deployments and serves as the capability foundation; Smart Home expands AI Video capabilities from standalone services to the whole-home ecosystem as the scenario-extension layer. Collectively, the three sub-solutions cover the full-link value chain of "Experience — Distribution — Ecosystem". They enable operators to build differentiated service competitiveness in the AI era and achieve strategic transformation from traditional broadband and video service providers to smart-home AI service providers.
