ZTE Advances Digital-Intelligent Future at Its Global Services Ecosystem Forum 2026 in Jakarta

Centered on the theme "Ultimate Service for an AI-Driven Win-Win Future", the forum brought together over 100 distinguished guests, including representatives from industry organizations, academic institutions, operators, and network service partners across the Asia-Pacific region. Attendees engaged in extensive discussions on building a digital-intelligent service ecosystem driven by "Connectivity + Computing", advancing AI-driven high-quality engineering, and charting practical paths for technological innovation. 

Alongside the forum, a ceremony was held to celebrate the milestone delivery of the XLSMART network integration project. As Indonesia's largest network integration project, it has achieved multiple milestone breakthroughs since its launch in May 2025, winning prestigious industry accolades including Ookla's "Fastest 5G Network in Indonesia in H2 2025" and "Best Mobile Network in 2026". These landmark achievements not only highlight all parties' proven project execution capabilities, but also serve as a prime example of ZTE and its local partners' deep collaboration in co-building a digital-intelligent ecosystem, further solidifying a resilient digital foundation for Indonesia's digital economy. Built on the success of this landmark project, the forum further reviewed the fruitful achievements of ecosystem synergy over the past five years, anchored future directions, and outlined a new blueprint for an open, win-win digital-intelligent service landscape.

Special guest Shurish Subbramaniam, Director and Chief Technology Officer of XLSMART, highly commended the partnership results and expressed expectations for deeper future collaboration in areas such as AI-driven network optimization and joint innovation commercialization, jointly advancing Indonesia's digital infrastructure to new heights.

Sun Fangping, Senior Vice President of ZTE and President of Global Services, stated in his opening speech that global communications networks are accelerating into a new phase featuring the deep integration of "Connectivity + Computing + Intelligence." In this process, ZTE is advancing its "All in AI, AI for All" strategy by creating an AI-native delivery system. This architecture is built upon a digital platform base, driven by AI agents, and powered by multi-agent collaboration. During the keynote session, the Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), the Director of DISM, and the CMO of ZTE Indonesia shared insights on telecom technology evolution, the prospects of Indonesia's data center industry, and the convergence trend of connectivity and computing. The speakers widely agreed that as AI deeply integrates into various industries, the engineering service model is accelerating its transition from being "experience-driven" to "data- and intelligence-driven". A subsequent panel discussion brought together representatives from the Indonesian Telecommunications Society (MASTEL), Project Management Institute (PMI APAC), XLSMART, CYIT, and ZTE. Experts engaged in meaningful discussions on computing infrastructure, full-scenario AI deployment, and local industry development. By proposing actionable pathways such as adapting technologies to local scenarios, cultivating talent through capability co-building, and fostering business sustainability via ecosystem synergy, they provided practical references for building a value-sharing service ecosystem.

At the event, ZTE presented awards to outstanding partners of the year, expressing gratitude for their significant contributions to project delivery and ecosystem co-construction. Guests also toured the ZTE-XLSMART Joint Innovation Center, gaining deep insights into localized innovations such as 5G commercialization pathways, AI-assisted operations and maintenance (O&M), and cross-industry digital transformations, which further unleashed potential for technological validation and commercial cooperation.
