基于数字子载波和概率整形的相干光通信系统设计及应用

摘要:相比于传统的单载波架构,数字子载波架构更能抵抗光纤传输中的信道损伤。概率整形技术相比于传统的常规调制格式可以更有效的抵抗光放大器引入的噪声。阐述了数字子载波和概率整形技术的原理以及它们在800G系统中的应用。数字子载波复用技术和概率整形技术的联合使用,可以进一步提升系统的ROADM穿通能力和传输容量。现网测试验证了两种技术在800G相干系统中的优越性。

Abstract: Compared with the traditional single-carrier architecture, the sub-carrier architecture is more resistant to damage in optical fiber transmission. Probabilistic shaping technology can resist noise more effectively than traditional conventional modulation formats. The principles of these two new technologies and their applications in 800G systems are discussed. The combination of digital subcarrier multiplexing technology and probabilistic shaping technology can further enhance the system's ROADM passthrough capability and transmission capacity. The network testing has verified the superiority of these two technologies in 800G coherent systems.
