下一代无源光网络的标准进展

[摘要] 探讨了ITU-T G.989.2下一代无源光网络标准(NG-PON2)物理媒质相关层(PMD)的物理层需求和规范,包括下一代无源接入网络的架构、用户网络侧接口与业务节点接口、对光配线网络(ODN)的需求、NG-PON2的X/S容限、时分波分复用无源光网络(TWDM-PON)和点对点连接波分复用无源光网络(PtP WDM-PON)的PMD层要求。认为NG-PON2单PON口实现40 Gbit/s的带宽能力,面向大容量、全业务的光接入网络,应用时间窗口应在2016年之后。

[Abstract] The requirements and specifications for the PMD of next-generation-2 (NG-PON2) defined in ITU-T G.989.2 are discussed in this paper. These include network architecture, user networks interface and service node interface, requirements for ODN, X/S tolerance of NG-PON2, PMD of TWDM-PON and PtP WDM-PON. In our view, large-capacity, full-service NG-PON2 access network with a bandwidth of 40 Gbit/s per PON port will be realized after 2016.
