24 February 2021, Shenzhen, China - ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, has released its Intelligent Orchestration Radio Network solution, which employs an innovative AI-based intelligent orchestration engine to tackle the challenge of 5G users’ rapid development and 5G services’ enrichment, enabling MNOs to achieve maximum value from 5G networks.

The mobile communication network has been developed to an extremely complex stage: multi-frequency multi-RAT coordinated network, different UE capabilities and diversified service types and etc. Traditional wireless network resource allocation and scheduling methods can be inadequate to meet the strong demands on rapid improvement of 5G experience. 5G experience is related to the balanced development of networks, services, and terminals. From the perspective of the entire network and all frequency bands, the Intelligent Orchestration Radio Network builds an AI-based autonomously evolving network service capability knowledge base, combining with terminal capabilities and service characteristics, empowers wireless networks with intelligent orchestration for the first time, realizes the transformation from a "network-centric" network to a truly "user-centric" network, flexibly adapting to the diverse services requirements of B2B and B2C scenario, facilitating the rapid development of the 5G industry.

The Intelligent Orchestration Radio Network features user orchestration and network orchestration. User orchestration employs a self-learning knowledge base of network service capabilities, together with terminal capabilities and service types, implementing an active user navigation to the best experience cells precisely. Network orchestration explores automatic network capability orchestration to match the differentiation of service characteristics and maximize network payload flexibly.
