散弹噪声干扰下的多电平调制可见光通信系统

[摘要] 认为可见光通信系统中的散弹噪声对高电平的调制符号产生很大干扰,应当考虑调制电平之间的距离逐渐增加以提升系统性能。提出一种简单的设计准则,并通过数值结果验证了其几乎能达到最优方案的性能。数值结果显示,合理的电平设计将带来明显的性能提升。数值结果的比较发现照明需求将影响设计结果,这进一步说明了提出的简单设计准则的必要性。

[Abstract] Shot noise in visible-light communication systems greatly interferes with symbols in high-level positions. The distance between the level positions should be gradually increased in order to improve system performance. This paper proposes a simple design principle, and the numerical results show that it can almost achieve optimal performance. Redesign for the optimal level placements is needed when illumination requirement changes, which indicates the importance of a simple design principle.
