    Large Capacity Equipment, Supporting High Speed Data Services

    ZTE SDR products have large capacity to support HSPA+ high speed data services

    • For ZTE SDR BP board, the services and data throughput are processed in different modules. The BP board can support high speed data flow and large user capacity at the same time.
    • The maximal carrier capacity of each ZTE SDR product is 4 carriers, supporting the deployment of DC HSPA/MC HSPA network by smooth expansion.

    ZTE RNC supports high data throughput. The large capacity design is very suitable for HSPA+ service.

     

    Full Consideration of the Transmission Requirement of Broadband Data Service

    The internal data switching capability of system equipments and network transmission bandwidth need to be improved greatly to support HSPA+ high speed data service.

    ZTE UTRAN products are based on IP switching platform. The IP switching platform guarantees efficient data switching without blocking. Furthermore, ZTE UTRAN products support ATM/IP dual protocol stack, with various physical interfaces. By ZTE UTRAN products, the transmission of network can be very flexible, and the upgrade to IP UTRAN can be very smooth.

    Mature Commercial Application

    In early 2009, CSL teamed up with ZTE deploying the world’s first HSPA+ commercial network based on SDR technology. This network has the highest data speed and stability, widest coverage in Hong Kong. The HSPA+ network supports up to DL 21.6Mbps per cell.

    In August, 2009, ZTE completed the HSPA+ upgrade for ZAPP in Romania. The successful launch of HSPA+ service crowned ZAPP as the first HSPA+ operator in the region of east Europe. ZTE took less than one month to complete the upgrade task by mature HSPA+ commercial system engineering experience and innovative UTRAN system design.
